Casting a bell for EOS on the occasion of the firm’s move |

Mr. Klotz and Mr. Helmert visited the new EOS headquarters in the industrial area in Krailling, a village close to Planegg/ Munich, to which EOS GmbH has moved. ACTech cast a bronze bell decorated with the EOS logo in order to underline the strong connection between ACTech and EOS. We gave the bell Mr. Oberhofer, operating business manager of EOS GmbH. |

Commissioning of the new CNC machining centre DMU 125 P hi-dyn |

We further extended the machining capacities at ACTech with the new CNC machining centre DMU 125 P hi-dyn. Future work in many shifts is also supported by the use of interchangeable tables. The centre with its technical equipment (to be run in 5 axes simultaneously, 2.5D and 3D machining, negative positioning up to 20°) offers clear machining advantages and makes possible universal use in 5-sided machining. |

ACTech took action in the AGENDA 21 process |

On 02/02/2002, the 3rd panel of the Agenda 21 for sustainable economic development was held in Freiberg. The panel was aimed at discussing current and future problems of sustainable economic growth with about 80 guests. The wide range of this objective was obvious from the papers. Speakers from trade unions, local authorities and business gave their opinions on problems. Subsequently, the task of the Freiberg Agenda 21 Forum was to analyse the interests expressed and to develop offers which could be taken up by the companies and local authorities. ACTech expressed its willingness to take part in this process and its hope that the Agenda 21 - Forum would be very successful. |
