QUALITY POLICY

The quality management system used by ACTech GmbH has been certified in accordance with ISO 9001 by the certification body TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH.

These certificates relate to the manufacture and sale of cast parts as prototypes, one-offs, spare parts and small batches, including machining.

We continually strive to improve and further develop our quality management system and processes. Our aim is to prevent errors in all areas and to consistently and permanently rectify any sources of error that we identify, thereby achieving continuous quality improvement in our products. This helps us reduce the costs of errors and increase the productivity of our company. To achieve this aim, we carry out periodic reviews of our established processes and procedures, assess the QM system and set new quality targets as appropriate.

Every employee at our company plays a part in ensuring and improving quality in a targeted way. This requires conscious commitment and active collaboration between different divisions and functions. Projects targeting continuous improvement are a top priority in every division of the company.

All of our employees are informed of the binding nature of the quality policy and their role within it. Collectively, they bear the responsibility of meeting our quality targets. The management team act as role models who set an example of such quality principles and monitor compliance.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

The environmental management system used by ACTech GmbH has been certified in accordance with ISO 14001 by the certification body TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH. These certificates relate to the manufacture and sale of cast parts as prototypes, one-offs, spare parts and small batches, including machining. Through the consistent implementation of our environmental policy, ACTech is aware of the overall impact of our products and their manufacture on the environment and with regard to natural resources. Our environmental policy is underpinned by compliance with and observance of our legal requirements and duties. ACTech GmbH is committed to protecting the environment, to fulfilling its binding environmental obligations, to ongoing improvement of its environmental management system and to improve its environmental performance and prevent pollution of the environment. We perform regular audits to monitor the effectiveness of our environmental management system. 

In addition to environmental aspects, binding commitments and other issues, we also assess risks and opportunities to prevent unwanted effects on the environment or to avoid these entirely. We meet our responsibility towards people through our activities to promote the occupational health and safety of our employees. Every employee at our company is required to make an active contribution to protecting the environment. We provide information and training to promote environmental awareness. Every workstation is designed with preventive measures to protect the health and safety of our employees. Our employees are also continuously reminded of their own responsibility to perform their work activities in a safe manner. For us, environmental protection also means reducing environmental pollution and a further reduction in the use of resources. We also expect environmentally compatible behavior from our suppliers and act to promote this within the scope of our abilities. We maintain an open dialogue at all times with all interested parties associated with ACTech GmbH.

CERTIFICATION "AUTHORIZED MANUFACTURER FOR IRON CASTINGS IN THE SHIP AND OFFSHORE SECTOR"

Since April 2018, ACTech has held a factory certification from the internationally recognized classification society DNV, a leading partner of the shipbuilding industry, for the production of components for the shipbuilding and offshore sector. Approved materials are listed on the second page of the certificate.

CERTIFICATION AS WELDING COMPANY

CERTIFICATION AS WELDING COMPANY

Since October 2016, ACTech GmbH has been certified as a manufacturer according to DIN EN ISO 3834-2 by TÜV Süd. Part 2 of the international series of standards DIN EN ISO 3834 et seq. specifies comprehensive quality requirements for the fusion welding of metallic materials, and thus assumes the function of quality management and quality assurance during welding.
The entire process sequence, from assessment of requirements, preparation, execution and testing of welding work to acceptance and documentation, as well as personnel and technical and organizational equipment of the company are the subject of the inspection.

CERTIFICATION FOR PRODUCTION WELDING OF RAIL VEHICLES AND RAIL VEHICLE PARTS

CERTIFICATION FOR PRODUCTION WELDING OF RAIL VEHICLES AND RAIL VEHICLE PARTS

ACTech GmbH was audited by DVS ZERT on September 1, 2020. This certification body issued confirmation that the welding company meets the requirements according to DIN EN 15085-2 at certification level CL1 for the field of production welding.
This standard is the basis for the welding of metallic materials in the manufacture and repair of rail vehicles and rail vehicle parts. Information on approved material groups, welding processes and responsible welding supervisors is specified on page 2 of the certificate.
The review focused primarily upon personnel requirements, procedure qualifications, welder qualification tests, execution rules, materials, weld seam quality classes and planning documents.

AEO - CERTIFICATION

ACTech GmbH was certified by the Main Customs Office Erfurt as "Authorized Economic Operator" on May 21, 2014.

TISAX® - AUDITED

The information security management of ACTech GmbH has complied with the requirements of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) since 2015. It was again confirmed with the TISAX® audit on March 25, 2021.
