Behind us lie 27 successful years in which we have been able to produce casting prototypes for over 1,400 customers from a wide range of industries at our Freiberg location. Always under the motto: "all in!" This development would have been unthinkable without our 400 employees in Freiberg and at our worldwide sales locations as well as our parent company Materialise. We can proudly announce that we will continue our company success on the "Next Level".
With our second location in the industrial park "Freiberg Ost", which we acquired a few days ago, we will be able to fulfill the wishes of those customers who have been looking for larger, heavier and more complex castings for a long time and find them with us. We are starting where others are waving off, opening up new possibilities for our partners and securing our pioneering role. Through innovative casting processes and with the help of additive manufacturing, we are enabling the development of a more sustainable industry that moves us all forward.
Our CNC machining and measurement will find a new home in nearly 9,000 square meters of space in Plant 2. With new, larger, high-tech machines for machining and the expansion of the foundry at the main site, we aim to double ACTech's production and revenue. In this way, we will secure existing jobs and at the same time create many new jobs for the region.
With an investment of over 23 million euros and the acquisition of the second site, the starting signal is given for the "Next Level ACTech". With this, we are laying the foundation for the next 30 years!
